Fraud Awareness
Keeping your money and personal information safe is our top priority. This page explains the most common scams, how to spot red flags, what Africlink will—and will never—ask you to do, and the exact steps to take if you think you’ve been targeted.
Quick Safety Checklist (Read Before You Send)
✔️ Know the recipient personally. If you haven’t met or verified them independently, pause.
✔️ Verify the reason for the transfer through a trusted phone number or in person.
✔️ Slow down. Scammers push urgency. Take a moment to confirm.
✔️ Choose secure channels. Never share one-time codes or passwords.
✔️ Trust your gut. If it feels off, don’t send.
